Well...first off hola, how are ya? OK, now a lil about
me..."Wezzy”. First of all has been my name for about
my whole life! I'm a mommy. I first got into radio
by mear accident, almost 5 years ago back in
2002. I got my big break just for being a "loud
mouth". I've always been the happy, friendly
and REAL sociable type.
My story is somewhat a Cinderella
story. Born in Modesto, CA. raised here in the Yakima
valley almost like forever!! By my mother Margaret, as
a single mother, she taught me to stand up for my word
and what I believe. I think that's why I am the way I
am and who I am today. I graduated in '97 from Wapato.
Never went to a radio or tech school... so it’s all from
the real me when you hear what you hear on air. Most
people will agree.
Raised hood, I became more of a person to strive and achieve
my goals and once I decided that radio was for me I put
everything else aside. I feel really great to empower women
here in our valley! I love music, I love Hip-Hop. I grew up on
bands like Lisa Lisa and the cult jam, SOS band so
it's safe to say I'm a real old school type of cat.
Truly valley, I just want to thank everyone from day
one who believed in me. Thanks to NNB for believing in
my Ninja like skills!!(LOL) OK maybe not, but "MY REAL
ON AIR TALENT". Thanks to all my listeners because of
course I would never be here if it wasn't for my
listeners. On that note plugging myself a little... ya’ all can catch me on the grind from 12-6 pm Mon-Fri and Sunday from 4-9pm!
Oh ya, before I close up here I want to thank the most
important person. I thank the Lord for giving me the
strength to never give up. My advice to you too
valley...I luv ya!!
