The Princes of Comedy originated with our meeting of Russell’s Simmons Def Comedy Jam host D.L. Hughley and his manager, Red Williams. We did a show in Albuquerque, New Mexico with D.L. as our headliner. We had the opportunity to discuss a few ideas we had with D.L. and his manager. Since D.L. is the current host of Def Comedy Jam-he and Red have access to all up and coming comedians-hence The Princes were chosen as The New Royal Blood.

The Princes are veterans of Russell Simmon’s Def Comedy Jam, BET’s Comicview, Comedy Central, Diddy’s Bad Boyz of Comedy, and NBC’s Last Comic Standing. They come to us representing St. Louis- Jessie Taylor, Houston – Ali Saddiq, Brooklyn- Wil Sylvince, and Miami- Malik S.

Here is their bio’s:

Jesse Taylor
Jessie Taylor has appeared on NBC’s “Last Comic Standing”, BET’s Comic View, Comedy Central, and Co-hosted a national syndicated morning show on 100.3 The Beat, and Magic 104.9. Jessie also hosts his own comedy show every Sunday. Jessie has opened for acts such as Cedric the Entertainer, Eddie Griffin, Dave Chappell, Sommore, D.L Hughley, Pauly Shore , Doug Stanhope, Corey Holcomb and the list goes on and on. Make sure you get a glimpse of this rising upcoming star.

Ali Saddiq
Determination to succeed best describes Ali’s rising star into comedy. Refusing to feel life had defeated him, Ali began his comedy career in the penitentiary. He emerged from the dreary walls of incarceration as a man with a zealous mission,to become a professional humorist. A lot of hard work and dedication has resulted in his swift and steady rise in the comedy arena. He has opened for the Def Comedy Jam Tour and the All Star Comedy Jam Tour.  Ali has also been busy polishing his acting skills with five independent film appearances in “4 Deep”, “Kappa Beach Week 2000”, “Dirty 3rd Party Two”, “ The J.R. Richard Story” and “Live from Rio”.  Ali has hosted his own radio show, “Tuesdays with Ali”, on KBXX 97.9 the Box. He has also been featured on BET's Comic View from 2000- 2004 seasons.

 Wil Sylvince
WIL has appeared onBET’s Comic View, The Apollo Comedy Hour, and Russell Simmons’Def Comedy Jam. His versatility was displayed by his ability to get a standing ovation on Def Comedy Jam with a performance that included no vulgarities. He now uses the tape of that “clean” performance to challenge the vulgar stereotype associated with the show, and that stereotype associated with urban comics in general. He was also featured on the Snaps album and book.  Due to WIL’s writing abilities, he was tapped by Wyclef Jean to write some of the hilarious skits on The Fugees album “The Score” and later on Wyclef’s solo album “The Carnival”.

Malik S.
Malik is currently on P. Diddy's Presents the Bad Boyz of Comedy DVD and also on NBC "Last Comic Standing." He has also been on BET's Comic View.  He has toured with the best in the business; the Queens of Comedy, Dave Chapell, and D.L. Hughley. Malik has also been featured on this years Def Comedy Jam.
